Apollo is charity funded and there are many ways which you can help us
to keep us going and continue providing social and long-term support
for our members. Funds generated in the past have enabled us to buy a
new mini-bus that members can use to get to various events which is
just one of the ways we are able to support them.
We welcome volunteers who can take on roles such as life-guarding at our swimming sessions, drivers to help with transport to Galas and our yearly holiday to Woodlarks, and helpers at our swimming sessions to ensure everyone is safe and enjoying themselves.
As a charity we welcome donations and grants to keep us running. In the past we have been fortunate enough to receive donations such as from the Yeovil Lions who generously funded £4000 in the past.
We do our fundraising through collections, table top sales, raffles and special events.
